Die Gestalttherapie beschäftigt sich immer mit den augenblicklichen Problematiken und versucht durch kreative und erlebnisorientierte Methoden,wie z. Rollenspiele, Arbeit mit Träumen und Symbolen, neue Perspektiven zu eröffnen.
